Johnny A Carter and Paul A Yeadon started working together 12 years ago as sound engineers and producers. Carter was previously a founder member of industrial noiseniks Pitchshifter (Peaceville, Earache and Geffen). Yeadon was in grunge rock firebrands Bivouac (Elemental and Geffen). Both have worked in studios worldwide: Carter from Parr Street, Liverpool to Eldorado Recording Studios, Los Angeles; Yeadon from Sawmills Studios, Cornwall to the Magic Shop, New York. They have amassed practical and creative skills over a 20 year period which has led to their output displaying a unique understanding of the balance between the musician and the recording process. They work under the moniker of The Moot Group at their Nottingham Recording Studio Moot HQ. Both have been known to live on Veg Curry for extended periods.
